Jaguar F-Type will receive a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 that will power the top version of the model.The information was confirmed by auto house, after a series of rumors in the press specialist.
Jaguar offers the sporty coupe, which will be launched in the fall, a 5.0 liter V8 unit, whose performance has not yet been disclosed. Currently, engine power exists in two versions.
The first develops 550 hp and 680 Nm and equip XKR-S model and the two produce 410 horsepower and peak torque of 635 Nm. The latter is a more realistic option, given that there is already a larger sports unit equipped with 550 horsepower.
The engine range will be supplemented with 3.0 liter supercharged V6 yes, capable of delivering 340 horsepower and peak torque of 450 Nm.
After its official debut scheduled for the Paris Motor Show, the new Jaguar F-Type will reach European showrooms in early 2013.
